FAILURE IS SOMEONE'S OPINION
This statement is so true, i related to it the moment i heard it.
That you have failed in a particular area in the assesment of someone or at most a group of people they may unfortunately be your teachers. But that's just their opinion judging from what they can see, they can be proven wrong if you disagree with them and show evidence to prove otherwise. If you give in then they become absolutely right,YOU ARE A FAILURE!They need your consent to prove them right, you can deny them that and they someday will be proven wrong.
Never let your life be shapened by what others say of you, dare to stand up for yourself and let the world how you want to be addressed
The Great Preacher T.D.Jakes was told in primary school by his music teacher he could never be a good singer cos he had too much baritone in his voice, his English teacher said he could neither be a good speaker nor writer because he had a speech defect and his writtings betrayed too much emotions.but today, he has proven them all wrong. He is a world class preacher, writer and singer.
What has been said about you?
Will you agree with them or prove them wrong?
As their opinion of you become your opinion of yourself?
The greatest evil you can do yourself is allow the opinion of others limit you.

FERTILITY
Oh! the pain of a mother deprived of the joy of maturing her child
"He's only being herh a forthnight!"
"Must he go?"
"Why?"
"Please help"
But alas, he must
With no chioce, she lets him go
Tears of blood, the pain of seperation
For a week, she moruns him "If only you'd let me nurture him to maturity,I'll give him up willingly" she cries
But more painful is the knowledge that yet another child will be taken from her
She produces only to let go
Oh the plight of a wombed man

Life isn't always what we want it to be.
The so called specialist encourage us to plan, but is life really about planning.
What do we do when life throws the unexpected at us?
They say we can choose how we react but isn't our reaction often defined for us?
When the sea of life seem turbulent and the boat is seemingly being redirected, when the life-map and compass seem utterly useless, the anchor is the only tool for safety-the only tool for stability
You may not be able to move forward then but it holds on strong and keeps you from moving either backwards or downwards.

Have you ever wondered why its easier to pick up bad habit than to pick up a good one?Specialist tell you to gain particular habit (usually a good one) you have to do it consistently for 21days, but to pick a bad habit all you need do is try it once. Holiness is not contagious but unholiness is. Bad company they say corrupts good manners, the company you keep will sooner than later affect you. Living right is a big challenge we face everyday especially since our world has made it pretty easy to get away with wrong. Most times, we don't have to answer for the wrong we do because it is socially accepted. But what is wrong is still wrong even if the society accepts it, there is a small still voice within that checks us and there is a GOD up there that watches. Corruption is like a cancer that has and is still eating deep into the fabric of our society, its very contagious hiding under the guise that everyone is doing it.Don't get infected ,its a deadly virus!

CHOICES
That’s something we all have and make consciously or unconsciously. Not making a choice in itself is a choice. You outlook to life and what you make of life are products of your choices. Two things happen to us in life, accidents (events we can do nothing about) and incidents (events we plan for).you can govern the accident that befall you but you can choose how you'll handle them. Even the worst of situations can be handled rightly it’s all a matter of choice. I know a great guy, he had an auto crash about 8years ago, He lost his legs and was confined to a wheelchair, it seemed all was lost but he choose to still be a force to reckon with and today. He is a loud voice for the physically changed. That’s just one of many; the list is endless of those who rose from the worst of accidents, its all about the choice they made.

Each day you are faced with the challenge of making the right choice, it may not be convenient but it will payoff eventually.
Father Fancis of Asisi said "he who is not proud of his color is not fit to live."I dear to add,he who is not proud of his country too is not fit to live.WHY? because they both have same offence, they both dispise their origin.Nigerians over the years have lost their identity, but i think and can see that the time of our re-birth has come, the re-birth of true Nigerians. We the youths of today have a task at hand,we must produce a better Nigeria for our children ,one they can be proud of,we must do better than our fathers.
my sincere prayer is this
O GOD OF CREATION DIRECT OUR NOBLE CAUSE
GUIDE OUR LEADERS RIGHT
HELP OUR YOUTHS, THE TRUTH TO KNOW.
If you indeed believe in the future of this country ,please do join me in this prayer daily by singing the 2nd stanza of our national anthem.
GDO BLESS NIGERIA!!!

A NEW NIGERIA
Nigeria clocked 46yrs on sunday, but something was unique about this years's independence day, I noticed that Nigeria is closer to her dream.I noticed that Nigerians are far more patrotic than ever before, we are begining to believe in ourselves and our country. I meet daily more Nigerian youths, male and female alike who believe in the dream of a new Nigeria and are willing and ready to work towards achieving it.I know a friend who took it upon himself to distribute the Nigerian flag to all around him with a copy of the nation's anthem in a bid to re-orientating them to love Nigeria. He is now taking the campaign to primary schools around his environment. There are many other such people doing other things to promote the image of this country to her citizens, but like a mentor of mine (Deolu Akinyemi) said, "The multitude did not win our independence, the multitude will not win our re-emergence. The critical question is not if Nigeria will regain greatness or not, the critical question is what role will you play?"
GOD BLESS NIGERIA!

Today,I was thinking about Alexander the great who conquered the world by age 30, but could not conquer his appetite for alcohol which was his final undoing.I could see clearly that the things that destroy great men are those things they don't deal with on their way up. An appetite or passion you can't control is a dangerous thing on the road of success could be an appetite for money, women, fame or even knowlege. Its like a time bomb,it can go off at anytime. The bible describes it as lust, and says its the root of everything we call temptation.
"if any man be tempted, let him not say he is tempted of GOD, for he is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust..." (James 1:16)
This lust is like a cancer it eats deeper and deeper until it destroyer.
BEWARE,THAT WHICH YOU CALL PLEASURE MIGHT BE THE TIMEBOMB YOU CARRY AROUND,DESTROY IT BEFORE IT DOES YOU.
